PowerNet maintains strong international and regional connectivity through 4G capacity via Lisbon, 1G via Paris and a terrestrial route to Abidjan, all delivered through CCL. The network is backed by IP Transit from Spain, a primary POP in Lisbon, an additional POP at CCL and multiple redundant paths into Europe through the ACE submarine cable system.
Our Network Operations Center is connected through dedicated CSquared fiber with a redundant wireless point-to-point link. Tarana and Mimosa platforms operating in the 5 and 6 GHz bands support both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint deployments, with throughput of more than 1 Gbps per link.
PowerNet is engineered for 99.9% uptime, with latency to Europe not exceeding 120 ms. Towers are interconnected in an X pattern so traffic reroutes automatically in the event of equipment or tower failure. Customer links are provisioned from your premises to one of our towers or direct fiber, then into our 12th Street, Sinkor backbone, using a Tarana or Mimosa CPE, router and bandwidth management platform for stable performance and remote monitoring.
